Finally
You learned how to sleep in the car seat. But still, it's usually only when you're the only kid in the car, and you have to be really, really tired. Here, we were on our way to pick up Starlynn from preschool.
Wash! Wash!
You're current favorite thing to do is play in the sink. You sign wash hands saying "wash! Wash!" and run to the sink and try to pull the chair over.
I usually have to cover the floor in towels because you think it's a crack up to dump water on yourself and the floor.

Grocery Market Melt Down
If it wasn't you crying it'd be someone else... which is why mommy doesn't get to the store much. Lol. It's ok though! I understand how you feel.
First Campfire
In Benton City at Grandma and Grandpa's. Eating a hot dog daddy cooked on the fire for us. We sat back from it cuz it was warm!
Naps
Are most often taken in your crib. Sometimes, I get lucky enough that you fall back asleep snuggling with me in the rocking chair. And I was doubly lucky to have the ipad nearby To take a picture of your beauty!
Reins
You haven't wanted to hold the reins too much but now that you've observed enough, now you want to all the time!
Climber
You're getting very good at climbing onto mommy's messy desk and pushing all the buttons you can find!
On Your Own!
Sitting on Auntie Mikaela's old pony, Carmel while she ate her grain. I stepped away and you sat there very still without fear for quite a while!
Pigtails!
You haven't really liked me touching your hair, but occasionally I can do it now! These were your first pigtails.
Swings
Getting pushed on the swings at Uncle Scott and Aunt Maria's house by Grandma Laura and Grandma Sue!
New Shoes
So, you're kind of hard to buy things for because toys don't interest you too much. But now I know. These shoes made you SO happy. You ran around the mall, making people veer out of your way, giggling and squealing. Watching them most if the time and bending over to touch them. You really do love shoes!
Choo Choos
Daddy has a train lay out in the garage and you're obsessed with it! Sometimes the first thing you say when you see your dad is choo choo! And you know exactly what the garage leads to and will often try to open the door whining "choo choo" the whole time.
Hymns
You love playing with the hymn books at church and will try to sing along. Another favorite of mine is when you shout "AMEN" most often before the prayer is even finished.
Movies
You like to go plop yourself down next to Starlynn and watch movies. For a few minutes at a time anyway :-) you'd rather be exploring still.
Big Uncle Ben
You love him! You say "beh" everytime he walks in the room and point at him. He calls you ET for this and then he points his finger and you two touch fingertips then you're on your way playing again!
The Floor
When adults lay on the floor, you just come snuggle right in next to us!! We love it.
But NOW you say "horsey! Horsey!" everytime we're on the floor and get horsey rides instead.

Redondo Beach
On terrain you're not used to, you don't want to lose your balance and fall which would make you have to touch it with your hands so you feel you MUST be holding someone's hand or you will stand there and cry and cry! But we're patient with that most of the time cuz we know when you're ready, you'll do it and love it. You just want to be sure and comfortable. :)
S'mores
Over at Auntie Rachel's house. You LOVE s'mores and for a year and a half old, I am surprised at how well you eat them!
Water Baby
Of all the things you're unsure of, a swimming pool is not one of them. Knowing what we know about you, we wouldn't ever have guessed that you'd lay back in the water and especially LET GO! We love that we have found something you love!
Grandmas
Special moment! Walking with your grandmas at NW Trek 8.20.12. Grandma Ni in your left hand and Grandma Laura in your right hand.
Riding with Daddy
We took daddy riding today. You repeated "horsey. Bob. Horsey. Bob," a lot :-) Bob is the name of this horse. You want to be up there the WHOLE time and you are wanting to hold the reins now. To you, the horses are something you connect with. They calm you and you have fun and I think they fulfill you like they fulfill me!
